After every other GDQ event they have a Super Metroid race at the end (FOR SOME FUCKING REASON) and one of Super Metroid's easter eggs deals with rescuing some animals from the planet you're on that's about to be destroyed. If you save them you get a "Good End" which slightly modifies the last cutscene in the game.
