Played the alpha, feels more like battlefront than battlefield, is just modern battlefield with an old coat of paint, theres a high chance it will be a mess on release, theres niggers everywhere, and its shitting on history for the sake of politically correctness cancer and other liberal garbage.

There were some african german troops. Especially in Somailland. Under german officer supervision native troops ambushed and held up over a hundred thousand british troops in that colony. The rest of the german colonies failed to achieve that level of guerilla activity and quickly fell to the british however.
However, they were not employed on the european front. Only the french used them in high rates on the western fronts which the game seems to be focusing on.

The british were quite disturbed by the amount of french colonial troops that had been shipped from their colony in north africa, it made sense to ship them there though.
British Indian colonial troops were much more busy with invading the turkroachs. Some of them were used on the western front, but specifically as elite shocktroops that were battle hardened already. Most of the colonial troops were fighting to keep control on the colonial possessions. British colonial troops in the cape were worried about german spies trying to start a revolt in their colony, or sabotage their shipping in the area etc. Colonies were were invisible wars happened, and required extensive guard operations by colonial troops.

Im a history major, and for the centinial one of my workshops classes on how to write and research was focused on all of the Great War.
Russian troops for example were shit, they used Bactrian Camels to deliver goods for the most part (A lot of the powers did this, but Russians relied primarily on horses for all movement of goods since the camels were renowned for their ability to walk on the snow). When the camels died, they were added to reinforce foodstuffs.

The only active combat forces to use the Slouch hat during WWI were 1st AIF (under ANZAC banner) enlisted personnel and US Cavalry officers.
The slouch hat was used by other units as a DRESS uniform, but not as a field uniform.

ANZAC comprised of Australian and New Zealand citizens, there were some indigenous personnel, but the number is under 1%.

I just know the starter stuff. Assaults have SMGs/Shotguns with Anti-Tank Grenade and that prone-only anti tank rifle. Medics have semi-auto rifles with bandages and needle aka defib.
Support has machine guns, ammo box and tripwire mines. Scout has Bolt action rifles, flare gun aka AOE spotter and anti-tank rounds that do 5ish damage each
I saw pilots have a wrench so I assume you repair with that if you can manage to land.

The tank driver and pilot can repair their own stuff. Having 2-3 people in tanks, jumping out and repairing and back in is fucking cancerous shit and always has been. Especially in 3 and 4 where the repair rate is insanely fast compared.
Having the person who spawns in be the caretaker of the vehicle also gives more weight to picking said class.
