How could Zestiria go so wrong? Graces, Hearts R, Xillia 1 and 2 and Vesperia all had good combat, Vesperia being an overall amazing game. They could just have gone back to it and take what made it good and add more, but instead you had a clueless boring main character and boring main story and terrible combat when compared to the other games. I just want muh air combos back and a character that isn't more boring than the town NPCs, as long as they do that I'm sold and it looks nice so far at least.

While I'm a bit disappointed at the constant delays of next-gen titles (Persona 5, Nier Automata and Beseria itself all pushed back to next year was infuriating) there is still some good stuff, and as someone with only a laptop it's decent enough to satisfy a few multiplats and my weeb cravings.
I don't like paying for PS+ either, but there are enough games I like to warrant it, and the service definitely has improved. Download speeds alone are much better, and it doesn't take 5 minutes just to log onto PSN. But that's just my take on it.

Vesperia was the tenth game in the series that I played, and it's not even my favorite. It's just pretty clear that the series' quality suffered a huge nose dive after that game. There was even an article I read somewhere where someone from the team said that they all worked really hard on that game and it was so exhausting that they never want to work that hard again.
