Melee/physical is strongest early on.
Blood isn't mana, don't waste it, otherwise you'll be feeding on rats in the sewers for hours.

Pick one type of combat style and stick with it, melee weapons, unarmed, firearms.
Inspection is required in your first playthrough when you don't know where anything is. It highlights weapons, switches, buttons and rare items from a distance, dark corners and hidden chests.
Pick one type of social skill and stick with it, Persuasian, Seduction, Demention, Dominate or Intimidate (don't pick intimidate it sucks)

Thaumaturgy is always fun, and a few character react differently to you being a Tremere, you can also getthat nice Haven in the chantry.
With that said, Nos and Malk are the most unique gameplay options, by far! Nos also gets it's own Haven.

No one likes, toreadors and ventrues. there only in the masquerade as a plot device to explain why the sabbat doesn't run the world and getting killed by the sabbat because vampires fighting shit is cool. gangrels are just animals, and malks are basically the same except their not furries. tremere are just another plot device to add flavor their 'esoteric and arcane' bullshit never works and writers need some way to explain where some artifact came from. Brujahs are the only respectable camarilla.
