When it comes to any customizable FPS game, I almost always go male because it feels right.

When i say i don't play as a girl it's in instances where it's choice only like mmo's, pokemon and what not. Usually I will do a run through as a male character in an RPG (or other game) and then go back and play the game again as a female character of a different class.
Usually Male Warrior/Soldier then switch to Female Mage. Also male's I usually do evil runs on and females I do good runs on.
In Mass Effect, at least the first two, I had a much better time playing as a girl because holy shit is male shep boring to listen to.

That was never my argument. It's the idea you think men who play as female characters when they have the choice are doing so because they're "insecure" I find absurd.
