I almost never watch anything related to gaming channels as they are used today. I consider Lets Plays as the modern day GameFAQs. Sometimes I need to look something up, and I usually find a video for it.
These niggers who have to start every video with a nasily "HEY GUYS SSJ420 GOKU XXX HERE", I just close it. I love the silent guys. Just play the fucking game and if youre making a video about a specific section, you still don't need to speak. The silent LPers are heroes.
If you are going to speak, at least have a good setup. Worse than listening to someone is someone who doesn't either have the setup for it and sounds like they're talking into that fucking stick microphone from a Gateway 2000, or they just ummm and hmmm and uhhhh their way through everything. Build a fucking script if you have to keep on topic without losing your words. Being clearly heard and to the point on topics is what I look for in videos, I'm not interested in your extra 30 mins of laughing and banter.

Its not fully silent of course. You get the sound of the game. Some of them just record with no mic at all I guess, only game sounds. I love those for when I'm trying to just look something up.
