Monster is easy. If domed, just jump around swiping at someone every now and then. Dome timer will constantly go down and you'll be free. Once you are stage 2 or 3 you can normally kill the hunters if you don't suck.

Remember to run and jump away to gain even more distance. I won my first try as a monster yesterday withe meteor Goliath, and I got caught 3 times and only evolved once.

The scan tells them the direction of where the monster, when the scan is activated. The monster knows when they scan so he can get the fuck away and go in a different direction. It helps but isn't everything.
Every hunter can dome, not just the Trapper, but now if you incapacitate a hunter the dome duration loses like 3 full minutes so you can escape a dome much easier as a Monster now.
I say immobile monsters like the Behemoth are insanely hard to win as though, too fucking slow but he can win vs a pug as stage 1

It's not the scan that ruins stealth, but the auto Dome prompt that activates when the monster is nearby.
It should still be a throwable item like before. Mosto f the times the Hunter is nearby but they haven't really picked up the Monster silhouette, yet doesn't matter since a PRESS F TO DOME THE MONSTER prompt appears bigass on screen.

Honestly I feel like if the Hunter's medic isn't halfway competent the team's fucked.
So far around 80% of the matches I won as hunters was when I got to be the medic. I don't know how to feel about that because I prefer support.

Play Goliath if bad at monster. It's the most balanced and if you are the sneaky type be a bitch and go Wraith. If you like attacking early go Behemoth. If you like speed try Kraken.
As for hunter try playing support. Speed boost is a big help for noobs
