Capcom was one of those devs that passive-aggressively abloobloo'd at the west for cracking the PSP open, and just flat-out stopped releasing PSP games outside of Japan at one point, not that they gave a shit about Mega Man to begin with enough to give us MHX2 and X3/PU2 and 3, but I'm pretty sure that was a convenient fallback decision during a board meeting
The Day of Sigma is a pretty based intro for the X series, and it sucks that we'll never see the same shit applied to X2 and X3
