Pic related, though Ocarina of time held the spot for a loooong time. I know that game like the back of my hand by now, but it's hard to argue with 500+ hours of playtime on MH3U.
Favorite genre is Stylish Action though, love me some Bayonetta. Gotta finish up DMC2 and 3 when I get the chance.

Not even a nostalgiafag, I played all 4 games (except 2) last week but something about the first game just enticed me and keeps me coming back, it just bleeds style, but I will admit 3 and 4 are probably better mechanically.
But the more I think about it, the more I feel that I love them all equally (except 2)

I think that the first game is the best as a game overall. Adventure, gameplay, style, music, enemies, all are so well designed.
