THREE THOUSAND RELICS
Why did they nerf Chloe's ass in 4
>>344360197
it's apparently bigger than it was in 3
>>344360197
Did they change her nose in 4? I wish they gave us a character model of her in the extras

That shits ridiculous

I've seen several glitch images from that exact spot in the game. What's its deal?

Was Sam originally going to be the bad guy?
Does anyone give a shit about Sam?
>>344361983
It's immediately after a scripted action sequence
There's too guys shooting at you immediately, and Elena kills them if you're too slow, so you feel immediately compelled to climb forward and melee them or shoot them immediately and then climb forward.
But if you just climb to the right, to the edge of the pole you're hanging from and aim, something in the collision and climbing animation gets fucked when you aim and release your aim.

>*record scratch*
>Yep, that's me. You're probably wondering how I got here....
>>344362291
I don't know if there's confirmation, but EVERYBODY said that was supposed to be the original concept. But I'm glad they didn't do that. It would've been hokey and cliche as fuck. It also would've ruined the theme of family and stability. Having the setup of Sam and Nathan always wanting this treasure since the orphanage is more impactful and complex since it means something to them personally but they don't want to sacrifice other things they love. It's a bit hard to explain but I think of it like more natural desires than wacky corruption.

How do you people break these games? I rarely run into glitches in games. The only time I can recall was Resi 6, and that game was godawful, it barely worked.

I loved him.

Holy shit, if this was gonna be a stupid revenge story, that would've been godawful. I'm glad they went with this instead.

What even is there to discuss about this game?
Any discussion it could potentially have would probably belong more on /tv/.

Nice rebuttal.
Notice how it came down to posting glitches. Discussion about this game is like discussion about Until Dawn.
They aren't even necessarily bad games, but it's so stupidly scripted it can only be discussed for so long.

Seriously though,3000 Relics.

Which Lara?
Last Revelation, Angel of Darkness, Underworld, or bitch Lara?
Should I save up for the 3000 relic chest or get the 2000 one?

This makes me sad.
>>344367665
I dunno, man, I liked 3 more than 2. More memorable exciting moments to me. I loved the young drake moments and that caravan chase was fucking incredible.

They aren't gonna change the price, best case scenario is Naughty Dog making challenges be every 12 hours instead of 24

>>344369339
I know a lot of people that really like 1 the best. It's not too uncommon. Dat Eddy Raja
>>344369339
I bought the collection and have only played 1 so far, but I really enjoyed it. Of course, that's with the updates and shit, so I can't compare to how it was originally. Do people criticize 1 only for its original controls that I've heard were bad, or is it for everything, including its story and whatnot? Seriously, I really had a lot of fun with 1 and always read it's the worst in the series or something.
>>344370446
People never hate 1 but call it average because it didn't have the awe of controlling Drake through amazing moments with really complex level design and diverse areas. They like to say 1 was a gears clone with some lite puzzles and climbing. But what's there is completely solid with all the foundation still being incredibly strong. When I replayed it 2 years ago though, I noticed at had some pretty finnicky controls.
>>344371190
The PS4 release does a lot to tighten up the controls.

This is coming from someone who has played the games to completion from the beginning.
>>344358358
I wish Uncharted 4's multiplayer wasn't completely dead. I know it's mediocre as hell and the amount you have to save for chests is fucking retarded but still.

>>344376937
>>344376937
Easily the worst part of the game
>>344376354
Maybe it's because I'm living in South Korea right now and the time difference makes it difficult for me to find matches.
>>344375101
it's not dead.
I honestly miss the arcade-y feel of Uncharted 2's multiplayer. That was mad fun. Picking up weapons on the map, the jumping around throwing nades rolling, sniping was fun, and it was balanced even with the boosters.
Uncharted 4 MP is so boring, maps are cool though but the gunplay, weapons, down/ko system just make it so lame.
Uncharted 3 was alright but they ruined it with loadouts, stupid kickbacks, the comeback game mechanic thing
>>344377889
In Uncharted 2 beta, there was no countdown to use grenades so I always started with match with 3 or 4 teamkills at once. One time I got all 5 members on the team including myself and one guy actually congratulated me on it. Then ND patched it because of people like me. Fucking fun police.
>>344377889
I find that the people playing Uncharted 4s multiplayer are all so incompetent. Right from the beginning I was coming in the top three for all my matches without even breaking a sweat.
>>344377735
That shit was cool. I like how Naughty Dog designed it by being just a reminder prompt in the beginning and then shit ramped up and you could use them to fake out enemies
>>344378245
In Uncharted 2 beta?
You could still do that in Uncharted 2. Last time I checked was in the 1.09 update for U2.
>>344378307
It's weird how bad players are in U4, lately I've been getting matches where at LEAST 2 of my teammates go 2-1-8. Like what the fuck are they dying from???
>>344375101
What makes you think it's dead? I don't have any trouble finding matches (full disclosure I haven't touched Plunder in at least a month though) and there seems to be solid numbers around the internet talking (now mostly complaining) about it.
It's certainly not not as fully featured as it should be, or will be after all the updates, but I haven't been in matches filled with South Americans yet, which is a good sign.
>>344378556
I know, it blows my mind. I'll be in a match where I'm 3000+ score and dominating the other team and lose because my bottom two teammates have maybe 500-700 points total.
>>344378556
No, you can't use grenades for the first 5 seconds of any match because of team killers. This changed a few weeks after launch.
>>344378556
So teammates that transcend shittyness isn't just my experience?
Every match I end up 1st or 2nd highest score on both sides, win or lose.
Like, I don't want to go into Ranked Competitive where people take that shit too seriously, I just want competent teammates.
>>344378809
I'm right there with you man, it's fucking unbelievable how bad some people are at video games.
>>344378736
Oh I guess it has been a while then, that does sound familiar.
Wish ND would just release an HD U2 MP free for Plus users, and purchasable for non-plus users with online after purchase of the game of course.
>>344378809
Ranked is incredibly fucked dude. Full pre-made teams just absolutely dominating. So many solo players just quitting on my team before we even get to 5 kills like what the fuck
>Get collectors edition to Uncharted 2
>Comes with exclusive skins
>Ok, sure whatever
>Naughty Dog sells them a year later as DLC
>"Exclusive" now means for people that can afford it.
For something that's so irrelevant as multiplayer skins, this still rubbed me the wrong way. And because I have my principals, I will never forgive ND for this.
>>344379254
As if Ranked wasn't already too heavily based on teams, what the fuck were they thinking with this forfeit feature?
What happens is that my shitty teammates want to quit, I vote no, then out of spite they throw the game and go AFK.
>>344368760
Hey look, someone who actually knows what they're talking about. How do you do?
>>344379708
It's a fair point. I know it's common and that it happened a lot late last gen, but 2009-10 was pretty early for that scum. Pretty sure Arkham City, Origins, and Knight did that too at least.
It was still weird that 4 featured no supernatural elements. I was expecting to fight something zombified up until the swordfight with Rafe.
>>344380178
I actually preferred that they took a more realistic route
I enjoyed 4, but I don't know where I'd rank it compared to the other ones. Most of the additions felt vestigial, and the stakes felt lower than any of the other games; most of that due to the fact that we were supposed to care about his asspull of a brother that he's apparently super close to but never once bothered to mention.
>>344380329

>>344380367
please do not speak about a game/series that you have not played.
>>344380367
Yeah, Sam and Nate's supposed past was a bit of a blow to what U3 implied was many years of Sully mentoring and bro-oping with Nate.
>>344368760
4 > TLOU > 2 > 3 > Golden Abyss > 1
Does anyone know what software this is? It's what they used for all the first game's animations.
>>344380940
Agreed, it felt like they were just shoehorning him in just to create a final story about the importance of family and all that cheesy bullshit.
