Nobody knew what happened during zero 2's game because Old Sigma and VLR Phi play instead of regular Sigma and Phi. Akane nor Junpei had the capability to shift that far because they're more info-based espers.
Did anyone else replay VLR when they got the corresponding ending? It just didn't feel right to break that link, I mean the characters had to go through the loop again so why not.
