I think he's a great character that should be considered in revisting, especially with V's philosophy of brining in under utilized characters.

he gets sparse use due to his very low position on tier lists, just above zangief typically. we won't see him in real tournaments, and most online prefer to bend towards whatever character is new or strong. even his character model is horrendous looking, with wildly inappropriate proportions all over the place that none of his costumes help cover up.
he's fun to play though, and a lot of his problems stem from things that effect other characters as well (no 3 frame jab, no wake up options, unreliable AAs that aren't jab, etc). his moveset is enjoyable, and everyone cheers for hypah bawms and "you can't escape" critical arts. stomps and headbutt grabs are great tools in the arsenal that give much needed mobility, though more difficult to land than they ought to be.
the sooner CPT is over, the sooner he and everyone gets a run at balancing. it's my only hope for making him a real threat, but it'd just be happy with a complete model overhaul really. PS4 no moding is suffering.
