Help.
The steambox doesnt propel me high enough to reach the zombie container.
>>
A boy and his blob 2
>>
>>344321387
Launch the steambox, move the box under it while it's in the air, launch the steambox again.
>>
>>344320805
why do all the good games have to use denuvo
>>
>>344321552
Thanks! I was under the impression steambox needs to be underground to powerup.

>>344321618
It's like 7 bucks or something.
Deffinitely worth it.
>>
>>344321801
>$7
It's $20.

A "game"

Capitalism.

>>344321989
Is that really the sum of money you can't afford?
>>

I'm not the Anon complaining about Denuvo. (I looked up this thread because I just beat the game, actually.) I was just correcting the fact that your stated price was just over 1/3 of the actual price.

I liked it and consider it worth the cost, but I can see why people would be hesitant to drop $20 given the length.
>>
>>344322252
You pay $5 alone for the usage of Denuvo
>>
>>344322038
It may not be super hard, but I don't think you even know what the game entails. It's like an easier Oddworld game.
>>
>>344322683
I really don't care as long as the game is worth it.

Doesn't balance out, to be qh.
>>
>>344322574
20$ is two and a half movie tickets.
The game is longer than that.

Its seriously game of the year.

You cant even preach SJW indie shit because

>uses the low poly graphic style /v/ has been begging for
>doesnt hold your hand, actually doesnt tell you anything, everything is told through visuals and by assuming the player isnt stupid
>doesnt assume the player is stupid
>music is perfectly fitting
>doesnt wear out its welcome

and personally it was fun even the second time through, which says a lot because games that try and throw you for a loop tend to be a one trick pony (undertale)
>>

>Its seriously game of the year.
I could see it winning something, but not GOTY. I think it's the best 2.5D game I've played though.
>>
>>344324426
That example makes no sense, eventhough I only liked Undermeme somewhat, its like the only game that benefits completly of a 2nd playthrough by killing everyone

also: I think they put more fine tuning in the first half of Limbo than this, would replay that game(s first half) any time over this

Dont get me wrong, this isnt a bad game, but they repainted all their old tricks:
>same lightning
>same music
>same puzzles

They even make fun of the "have to put another box to get up there" puzzle at the end

I really wonder where the 6 years went
>>
>>344325130

I think the point is that its literally a redefined and perfected limbo

also the "lore" is a lot more interesting then limbo, and a lot less "hurr may b the girl is ded and ur at the playground xD"

except for the hotline miami tier secret ending 4th wall breaking silly ending, but whatever

so why were there puppet people and what was the kid trying to accomplish?
>>
>>344323363
it's actually not though, that's the thing
>>
>>344327407
the kid probably escaped his captors and was due for processing, which is why he was running at the start
so he runs into the city and then needs to escape in the other direction
there were puppet people for whatever dystopian fantasies you can think of
>>
>>344327407
I think the kid was actually controlled by the giant ball of people, which guided him all the way through the laboratory and made him break in so that it could finally escape. The kid got sucked in, but the massive consciousness of all those people finally found freedom.

At the start of the game, you think the boy is actually escaping from one of the facilities to go live in the wilderness or beyond the fences, but then you realize he has a clear objective and path in mind.
>>
What's with the weird soundblast thing that could explode you? It sounded weird as he'll, and there were test dummies rest for testing in that same area in chairs and in a openable room

LIMBO was 6 years ago
do you think they'll make faster games now that they seem to have a solid 3D engine and palette available?
>>
>>344327825

Blob didn't escape, the last thing it does in the game is crash through the wall of an enlarged version of the diorama it fell on earlier. The boy was controlled by the blob the whole time, it's one big experiment.
>>
>>344328453
I think it was a weapon test site, the underwater sections seemed to be this large abandoned research facility too. Probably had something to with those weird upside down water parts
>>
>>344328639
i didn't want this webm to end
>>
>2deep4u narration
>setpieces just piled in with no rhyme and reason
>no music
What is this shit, can't they hire more people and make an actual coherent game?
