I already had Hyrule Warriors on Wii U but traded it in to help get the N3DS. Are the changes to the 3DS version substantial? I really do like the game but I just wasn't playing it as much having finished the story and unlocked all the characters and weapons

If you've already played OoT be in on emulator or on origonal hardware years ago, I'd hold off unless you're really feel like playing it now as the Water temple is much more bearable now that boots are item slots and not on the gear page, if you have a more powerful PC you could probably emulate Xenoblade now that Dolphin 5.0 is out, man that program is made out miracles

I've actually never played OoT, as for Xenoblade, I've never played it either, but one of my friends describes it as "Final Fantasy XII-2" in a gameplay sense. And I love FFXII. I'm not really big into Zelda is the thing, the only one I've played was Skyward Sword, and I thought it was okay at best, but I kinda wanna give the series another shot.

Yeah, that's what I did when I was transferring data from the in-box 4GB SD card to a larger 32GB one, and then when transferring to a new 3DS when I bought the new one later.
I'd copy your shit on your SD card to your PC first just in case.
If they're both MicroSD then you can just put your current one in your new system after you do the system transfer via the options menu.

My first Zelda was Skyward Sword because my family grew up really poor till 2010, where my dad got a really fucking good job, we're practically rich now. The Wii was my first video game console back in 2010. I didn't even have a computer of my own till that year.
Some people aren't a fan of the art style, but otherwise this is a pretty good game.
