Pretty sure he is either not in the game yet or you need to survive for a crazy amount of time like 700+ seconds. Sound files make it seem like he might be able to steal your upgrades since there is a daggersteal.wav and leveldown.wav.

Leveldown has been in the game since launch.
There's also an Owl Wing model that's untextured, even though the texture was in the last patch. There's currently no Andras model, either.
He sounds like he'll be fucking nuts though. Flying and impacting on the ground, etc. Someone on the steam forums went so far as to look up what/who Andras was and he's a real thing, or as real as a demon can be, I guess.

If you look at the projectile there's a handle and blade. The dagger is by no means realistic in design, looks more artifact-y.

Your talking about the centipede that spawns with the three spiders right? You should be able to kill pretty much everything before they spawn, then kill the spiders and then position yourself so you can walk past the centipede while shooting all of his gems (if you killed the spiders really quickly you can also get away with just standing under him).
This way you can kill it before all the squids have spawned but if he is still alive you can just ignore him and deal with him in the downtime before 230 seconds.

Thing, I'm not really able to clear the squids and skulls by then, I might with time (as I can now clear the squids before a new one comes up and have a couple seconds of free time before the first spider comes up, as well as a tiny bit of free time when the centipede and the spider show up), but right now I can't clear shit fast enough despite going my fasted to destroy quids and only clear skulls behind me when I have a homing one following me.
Although I get that having to start over from the beginning is part of the challenge, I do wish you could get a checkpoint if you managed to clear the arena entirely of enemies (maybe you'd have to do that like 10 times to unlock it)
I actually just bought the game during the Steam sales, I'm having lots of fun with it.

Also fuck Logitech mousepads, this thing is less than a year old and it's getting little fucking scratches in it that are fucking up my mouse tracking.
Anybody else think that the whole 'replay the highscores' aspect of the game is a little counter-intuitive? I wanna see how the top guys get their rediculous scores but i also wanna not see all of the cool monsters that appear as you go?

You got the second upgrade before that part right? It shouldn't be too difficult if you got it, just make sure to kill the spiders as soon as they spawn. If you really can't make it then you can try using the homing daggers as well.
