Outside of fighting games, what genre must always be played at 60fps?

Some games lock physics to frame rate. Dark Souls and Metal Gear Rising come to mind for having justified reasons.
FPS.
Rhythm games

Any game where the gameplay is real time.
So only Turn based games save themselves.

Normally, games should be 60fps, with specific genres like arena fps being played at 144 or higher.
Character-action suffers significantly from being under 60fps. Since attacks and combos require specific, well timed inputs in a similar way fighting games do a poor frame rate can mess that up. You can still play and beat them easily, but I doubt you'd see all of those stylish fights people pull off without a high frame rate.
Platformers can also be rough without at least a decent frame rate. I don't know about other people, but playing a platforming focused game on a low frame rate is a fucking nightmare. It doesn't necessarily need 60fps, but if it's too low it can actively hamper your ability to play well.Honestly, 60fps should be a standard no matter what genre. I can see some genres like turn-based strategies or RPGs being fine with lower frame rates, but they are actively improved by higher ones. I will always be cool with sacrificing graphical fidelity for a higher frame rate since that plays right into the gameplay aspect.
