My internet went out yesterday, but i was able to play and beat this game. i don't know if we talked about it yesterday, however i sure as fuck want to talk about now.
What did you guys think? Did this game top limbo for you?
>Denuvo
How would I know?
>>344276003
idk man, its sometimes okay to support the industry
Is it on ps4?
>>344277257
>indie emotional platformer shit
whatever
>>344277257
Then don't put out Steam-only releases. Not everyone uses it.
>>344277257
How should I know if this is worth supporting if I haven't tried it?
>>344277559
Do you go watch beta of movies in theathers before buying a ticket?
Watch a youtube or trailer of the game and stop being a pirating scum full of excuses.
>>344277290
idk i'm sure it will make its way there
>>344277559
i think it'll be worth it when it goes on sale
>>344277349
>buzzwords
whatever
Why are you shilling this game? Exact same thread and pic every 2 hours.
For everyone else, it's short (1 hour) relies on meta too smart for you crap, and the "secret" ending is just as bad as the main one, entirely predictable, and is just there to inflate the game by 30 minutes.
Watch it on youtube.
>>344278061
>Why are you shilling this game? Exact same thread and pic every 2 hours.
This is the only thread i've made with the game, and i want to talk about it.
>>344276003
>>344277458
>>344277559
You should try getting a job so you could actually pay for games if you wanted to instead of this gay "muh pirate code" shit
>>344278008
it's not buzzwords when it's the literal description of the title
>>344275945
I think it'sLimbo prequel.
>>344277257
Why would you support a game that's been shilled to death?
https://boards.fireden.net/v/search/image/bbMrmqVxT9eq0k-p7nC_yw/
The weird siren/water girl is cute imo
>>344278209
>it's not buzzwords when it's the literal description of the title
?
The ending is fucking pathetic. At least do the "oh shit the ending is actually the beginning" shit like Limbo did. But the game is beautiful though. Too bad you didn't get to find out more about the water qt
>>344278397
the only one i don't see is shit and that's not surprising
>>344278370
Like i said, my internet was out yesterday. And i picked the same image that was first to show up in a google image search of the game.
>>344278481
the only buzzword i see there is indie, seeing the eye doctor might be a good idea
>>344275945
>>344277257
I'm not paying 20 euro for a 3 hours long game that I may or may not like. I'll wait until it's cracked and buy it if it's good. Or I'll get it when it's -75%.
>Did this game top limbo for you?
When I played Limbo I thought the gameplay/storytelling/art style had tons of potential and Inside pretty much exceeded all hopes I could have had for a sequel.
Wish it wasn't so much of a "hurr it doesnt make total sense because art" thing but still, great game
>>344279897
>100k license for drm
are they stupid
>>344280254
it might be, but i bet limbo got pirated for the same reasons that INSIDE would be getting if they didn't have denuvo
What the fuck was her problem?
>>344280589
maybe she wanted dick
>>344280703
>maybe she wanted dick
That she would kill you for, do you think bitches would try to kill you for your cock?
>>344281149
Maybe she was REALLY lonely and has social issues
>>344281149
no, maybe she wanted to eat you or consume you otherwise
>>344281496
>Kills you every time except the one time she instead saves you because reasons
Hated that part
>>344281631i don't why she did that and why you became a fish because of it
>>344281671I guess she wanted you to be the same as her, which is being able to breath underwater. She did inject you with something when you were floating down
>>344281631
Gameplay 10/10
Music 10/10
Atmosphere 10/10
Game length 4/10 (A Fucking hit to the balls, Finished the game in 2 hours.)
Story 6/10 (The ending was kinda shitty 2deepforyou)Secret ending 0/10 (Don't even bother)
I would rate the game 5/10 just because the length disappointed me so much.
>>344281631
>>344281973
oh sorry i quoted you
is this why i got limbo for free a few months ago?
>>344282238
You know it, goyim
>>344281973
Which is a shame since there was a lot of cool shit in the game
>That tension while being chased by the dogs
>That part when youaccidentally fall in with the line with the mindless zombies
[spoiler>]That whole shockwave part
I just hope the next game will be longer or have co-op or something, Limbo 2 where you play as the boy and his sister would be pretty neat
>>344281973
when you get the secret ending you realize the blobwas controlling you the player and the blob represents the video game industry
>>344281848My theory is there were multiple underwater girl things, and the last one was the one being controlled by the blob in order to give you the power you needed to help him escape
oh well, installed limbo right now, since inside is out of reach
>>344283645
interesting idea, Aniki
>>344284220
its a great game anon enjoy it
I was honestly really dissapointed. So dissapointed I made a review thing for it on steam just to vent
http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198050930881/recommended/304430/
Basically it feels like a child's game with themes that even Portal pulled off better
Water girl is a cutie and I want to hug her
>>344284927
Honestly the only problem that i had with it was length. I don't think that the puzzles were bad at all.
Who was controlling the boy in the cornfield?
>>344286567What if the Limbo was actually about what the boy was thinking when he was being controlled? And when you find the girl in the end of Limbo it actually means the boy's controlled body found the blob?
>>344283371
rly makes you think
>>344279306
This
>>344286412
How long is it? Judging only by the trailers, and from playing Limbo, it seemed like it wouldn't be much longer than 3 hours.
>>344288653
It's shorter than Limbo
>>344286412
Never said they were bad. Just boring. Felt like I was doing a kid's crossword. With one exception being that subway puzzle.
>>344288653
3 and half hours
>>344288653
I finished it in two hours. I really enjoyed it, the games length is the only thing that holds it back
>>344275945
so if it uses denuvo, lets go to the second best thing besides piracy. Lets watch lets plays!. Its only 2 hours long anyhow!
fuck how this fucking game has denuvo? i cant play it now wtf i have to fuchking see it in youtube now shit i wnated to play it fuck you denuvoooo
I was pretty satisfied by the fact that I was right about the direction it was going in.
Its a really good game. I would honestly say for how long it is it is not worth 20$ but it is worth playing, though. Better to go in not knowing what the fuck it is.
Also I'm just gonna say it, I don't know if its denuvo or not, but this game kinda ran like shit. It couldn't make up its mind if it wanted to be 30-60 FPS and it certainly doesn't look like too demanding of a game.
So I'll blame denuvo for that.
>>344293216
To be honest, I dont completely mind it at this point. Just let the devs have their piracy free world. Let them get their numbers, let them make a product how they see fit.
I have pirated games for over 10 years right now as well but still...they are not obligated to give it to us for free. Its their product.
Perhaps they will start making more demo's. Perhaps they will fuck over mod communities or not. Let them fucking try.
Besides, I no longer play games that much anymore these days, so who cares lol. Perhaps these people will realize that paying 50 bucks for a shitty ass game is not something that people are willing to do these days, and they may get in line with the rest of the industry in getting onto the recession and problems with the economy/shrinking middle class, poverty etc.
Loved it. Is there only one ending?
>>344295275
Two.
>>344275945
It definitely topped Limbo. The polish that this game has is something that I've never experienced. The animations and interactivity are what really make it special.
I really like the story, I wish there was a tiny bit more given to you, but after playing through and paying close attention there are a lot more clues than I realized.Like the picture of the blob hanging up beneath the cornfield.
It's a great spiritual successor to Limbo. I don't think they're in the same universe though. I believe it's just everything that Playdead wanted to do original with Limbo and this is the potential being realized
>>344295334
How do you get the secret one?
>>344295698
You get the secret rooms and break the orbs in them.
>>344277257
>$15 for a three-hour long game
no thanks
>>344277713
A movie ticket costs $2.
This game costs $20.
>>344296330
a movie ticket costs $50
pop corn costs $100
this game costs fucking $2000000!!!
>>344296106
Shit, I only found one. Thanks for the tip though.
So since it has no mp component, piracy may be dead but youtube lets plays just will replace it, and still nobody will buy it. What are they going to do next? Create some DRM to prevent people from recording it? Kek? Will we soon have tv's that will see if you record it with a camera?
Are you listening to me devs? I am still not going to pay for it, il just watch someone else play it.
>>344295698
The secret ending is really, really not worth bothering with.
>>344275945
>3 hours
>$20
I felt robbed when I payed $12 for Limbo and it was 2 hours or so long.
They can go fuck themselves with this pretentious shit this time.
It was good, to be honest my Game Of the year so far
Dark souls 3 just wasn't that good
>>344296635
I was telling actual prices though, I'm not sure why are you exaggerating.
Is game length becoming a meme?
>Is this game worth buying?
>The gameplay is shit, but it's $.50/hr!
>10/10
>>344297996
>>344275945
Torrent where? When?
>>344298359
>american prices
What's the message of the story?
a DEEP indie platformer from the faggots that brought you the SHIT game LIMBO
