I mostly avoid playing with friends irl because my friends stopped being fun when they started taking games way too seriously and started playing fighting games almost exclusively, even when we brought over new people to the group to have fun. They also bitch and moan when the game is not something they want to play and can never fucking compromise without acting passive aggressive the entire night. Online friends are some of the most fun I've had for a while now, although everything can change with time and I doubt it will last. Going to enjoy it while I can and hope that I don't grow too attached.
