All it takes is a cluster of eggs to break away from the Milky Way's gravity well and travel a couple millennia depending on velocity.

I just hate the series-wide obsession people have had with playing aliens since ME1.
It would never make any impact besides a couple of lines of dialogue and maybe your romance options. This makes it pointless except for aesthetics and gameplay mechanics.

I'm talking about when the game first came out, not the long term. Literally everyone I played it with wanted their favourite alien race (that was actually in at the time) and stopped playing humans almost completely as soon as they got it.
Honestly in the single player I'd be content with having a male Turian and an Asari as the only alien options. I just want to play as something, anything that isn't a human for the fourth time around.
Andromeda is also the perfect setting for finally having the option since all of the species present are all coming from the same place with the same goals, so theoretically any of them can be dropped into the 'head explorer' slot with very few changes to the big picture.

A servitor is controlled by a human brain hooked up to a computer that makes it programmable for various basic tasks you dip, it cannot do anything by itself. Servo-skulls are more advanced in that they are 100% machine and don't rely upon a brain for processing power, but they are still completely incapable of doing anything without being given instructions and will not deviate from those instructions no matter what.
The closest thing to a true AI in use by the Imperium are ancient battle titans that have learned a shitton of stuff over the centuries of having hundreds of different pilots plug their brain into it to the point where it's kinda-sorta got a will of its own, but generally they will not do anything without an operator either.

ME3 also had the best levelling/skill system as well IMO. In ME1 the billion '+1% xyz' skill points that didn't feel like they did anything was too tedious for the shooter combat that they paired with it, ME2 went too far in the other direction and left it too barebones, while ME3 had skills that you could actually customise and gave clearly noticeable upgrades with every rank unlocked and meshed perfectly with their finally good cover shooter gameplay.

So, people who defend that ME3 piece of dogshit didn't want an RPG at all, they wanted a shooter. That's why they're so quick to accept any story fuckups and all that gameplay trimming, because that's the type of crap they're used to. ME1's system works fine in turn based RPGs where it's all about maximising hit percentage and damage every time you hit 'attack', but is not appropriate where doing well in combat relies upon the player's shooting skills.
It's especially silly when you consider that Shepard is a top-tier special forces soldier who's so good he's being considered for the absolute best black ops organisation in the entire galaxy before the game even starts, yet he cannot hit the broad side of a barn at ten paces or keep a rifle steady for more than three seconds because 'lol he's level 1'.

Exploration is supposed to be difficult. Dangerous. Bioware don't understand that. They will make it all easy for girls and children. Plus - unlimited oxygen and fuel for jet-pack.
