Well if you look at it logically, the tomeline basically requires that Sakura and Takumi are Corrin's younger siblings. The letters from Mikoto have to be a lie to save her child's feelings.
It's explained that Corrin came as an infant and that Mikoto married Sumeragi while he was still in a crib. It's not possible he could have two unrelated younger siblings.
