>Setting up for Four Swords Netplay on Dolphin 5.0 (WIP)
1 (optional). If you plan on saving in netplay and want to keep saves from your other games, backup MemoryCardA.USA.raw from your GC folder located in your global user directory (usually "username/documents/Dolphin Emulator"). Then copy MemoryCardA.USA.raw from this download in the same location. If you want to use your own save, make sure to upload your memorycard file to other users playing your game.
2. Copy "dsp_coef.bin" and "dsp_rom.bin" into your GC folder if you don't already have those files, as they're apparently needed for the game to play nicely with VBA-M.
3. Open Dolphin and configure the following:
General: Disable Idle Skipping, as it corrects issues with holding buttons apparently.
Audio: Select LLE Recompiler.
Gamecube: Slot A: Memory Card. Leave the other slots empty.
Wii: Uncheck "Insert SD Card" if checked, just in case.
Graphics: Enable "Skip EFB Access from CPU" and set "Texture Cache Accuracy" to safe.
Controller (important): Set Gamecube Port 1 to "GBA"
4. Make sure to include the path to the Four Swords iso included in this download (go to options>configure>paths and add the path to the iso).
5. Run VBA-M exe included in the download (configured to connect to Dolphin and includes GBA.bin (bios file)). Go to options>input>set>config and configure your inputs however you like.
6. Open and run GBA.bin.
7. In Dolphin, go to tools>Start Netplay.
8. If hosting: go to the host tab, select the Four Swords Adventures iso, and click host. In the netplay lobby, copy the room id and share it with other players. Be sure to assign ports as fit.
If connecting to host: enter the hosts room id.
9. If all went well, the game should start up, and vba should recognize the connection. If so, Have fun!

Doesn't work with netplay, but I made a readme for four swords locally.
You need Dolphin version 4.0-4811 x64 and VBA-M SVN 1206.
Finally got it to run ONLY on this version of Dolphin with VisualBoyAdvance-M. Dolphin needs ports 1-4 to be set to GBA for 4 players. Each VBA-M instance needs to have its input set to the appropriate option for each port. I needed Enable GBA Linking DISABLED or else it would crash, then connect using the Joybus Options menu. You also need to have speed throttled to 100%, or else Dolphin will lag. You need to have Bios Files set in the VBA-M settings, and then launch the bios file. Once launched, it should connect. Be sure to do them in the order of their inputs. For some reason I couldn't get any other combination of these two emulators to work.
1) Set bios in settings, enable it.
2) Make sure GBA Linking is disabled
3) Make sure throttle is set to 100% on both emulators
4) Make sure the emulators have inputs 1 - 4 selected, in order.
5) Start the bios as a game in each emulator after launching Dolphin and Four Swords
