FUCK! The balance is still too shitty to being more limited to play like that. The old server browser was shit because you did not know if you were joining server with 3- minutes left or if it was in a vote to change to another map, sometimes even joining a server with a map and see the welcome screen being of a completely different map, but that does not mean I wanted that to be lost.
Now you are going to be fucked if you want to try anything interesting at all to have fun. I loved to jump into servers and play with the sticky jumper and the iron bomber but against a barely decent team it's going to be fucking stupid to try and play like that so if you rank up you will have to addapt to whatever "meta" people want in this shit balance they have and everything involved with it if you don't want to die inmediatly.
Just imagine people trowing shit and votes inmediatly just because of what you want to play as in the higher ranks. The payload rotation is pretty good though. Haven't played 5CP in so long because I don't like how most of those maps have the final point cap in 1-2 seconds. It just encourages steamrolls.

In my experience most of them have always been shit (at least any under 100 ping for me), and I've been playing since 2008. The quickplay Valve servers being added was kind of bittersweet because at least I could play vanilla again.

What do you do about ragequitter, what do you do about people who have to choose between waiting in spawn/fucking around or in the tittle screen because they got into a map they did not even want to play in the first play? What the fuck is going to happen to buttmad people who start calling random votes to kicks, like a heavy who call a vote to kick the medic just because he thinks the medic is shit for lettim him die when he wanted to fight 6 people on his own, or when they simply get mad at you.
In other topic, what happens with the tha have ragequitters now? I've ended up in matches with 10+ people against 4 on my team more times than I could remember. Do you have to rely in begging others to switch to your team or autobalance mean autoscramble and the numbers are going to be balanced like always if people can't randomly join in anymore.
I could be wrong about what I'm saying because I'm based on what I think the server works like right now, I can't play the game right now.

Serious question; why is it that every fucking update Valve puts out crashes the servers for fucking hours? How have they not fixed this after nine goddamn YEARS of updating the game?
More importantly, if they can't fix the problem, couldn't they at the very least have a cache of your backpack right before the update to let you play around with your items and weapons?
