Which brand HDMI cords do you use? and lol if you use the cords that come with the console.

The one that works
>>
>>344219679
All HDMI leads are the same. Branded ones which cost $20 are exactly the fucking same as the ones that cost $5.
>>
>>344219679
HDMI cables are digital. They either work or they don't. This isn't like old analog cables where you need bells and whistles to get a better signal. The only reason you might need special hdmi cables is if you are doing something like running cables very far distances or through something that might cause high interference.
>>
>>344219679
I use the ones that came with my TV.
>>
>>344221114
impossible
>>
>>344219679
the gold plated anti virus ones obviously. Like i need some ruskie bot stealing my infos
>>
>>344221769

Hdmi is a digital signal

It's either 100% or it's 0%. All functioning hdmi cables are identical in output.

I use my carbon fibre diamond nanobot, digitally enhanced, deluxe infinite, limited edition, dubs rolling, board trolling, apex shitposter Mk.VIII, Teflon coated, Gold Plated, Thermally Insulated, Non Biodegraded HDMI.

Cost me 45k but the pixel quality is supreme.

These are wrong. "Standard" $1 HDMI isn't rated for high def picture quality. "High Speed" $1 HDMI is though. This is the only difference beyond outside environmental shielding. So just make sure the HDMI cable you buy says "High Speed" on it.
>>
This has to be a troll thread. cheap bulk hdmi cables have been shown to match super expensive cables dozens of times in testing.
>>
>>344222671
Then how do they get away with selling them for a grand? Also if you say a dollar one can compare with a 50 dollar one quality wise, u are wrong.
>>
>>344222828
Show us testing that shows that expensive hdmi cables have better picture quality than cheaper ones.
>>
>>344222828
Pure marketing by retailers trying to make extra cash off ignorant consumers.

>>344223000
You likely won't notice the difference on anything lower than 4k. But Standard can cause compatibility issues with some newer devices & result in no sound or no audio.
>>
>>344223000
In terms of picture quality, they are all more or less the same. However, if you are using a high end home theater surround sound system the cable definitely matters. Certain surround sound formats require more bandwidth (such as DTS Master Audio, Dolby True HD, Dolby Atmos, etc). Certain cables are limited in terms of bandwidth and speeds. They will still work, but there are noticeable difference in sound quality.

It sounds like you bought an overpriced HDMI cable and are trying to justify it by acting like it's better than the ones you get from consoles.

I paid 50 for mine

I always use the ones included in the console, stop being a baby.

If I need another one I get one from amazon. Spending more than 10 bucks on an hdmi cable is for retards.

Enjoy your input lag.

make sure to get the 20m one so you can hook it up anywhere
>>
>>344223849
Overpriced, I paid $20 back in like 2010 and it's exactly the same as the ones I got from my console.

Nope. I've had to swap a couple standards out for high speed. But there isn't really any difference in the price & most companies buy them in bulk to ship with their products.

Don't confuse high speed with high price.

I bought this one just for my PS4. You can't trust standard HDMI cables to do justice to Sony's technology.

Get an HDMI 2.0 if you use 4K.
HDMI 1.3 or 1.4 is you use for 1080.

Get Amazon Basics or Monoprice if you dont feel like researching brands.
