I'd have to go Gen 7 here. Gen 6 is ultimately better, but I'm a sucker for a lot of the new PS3/Wii titles.
Without gen 7 there'd be no DMC4, MGS4, Sly 4, Skyward sword, Galaxy 2, or Xenoblade.
