Stardew > All Harvest Moon entries that you are too nostalgic to realize are worse except for SNES+64 HM games because those are the only ones I am truly nostalgic for and my taste is fact.
Stardew took out too much tedious arbitrary bullshit and added too much neat shit to ever be considered inferior to a harvest moon entry, especially a 2D entry.

If this had pro clothing designs this would hands down be the best Animal Crossing.
New World improves on every aspect except I don't want to be the mayor and I have a soft spot for DS low poly models with pixelated textures.

Yea another draw back, but I never noticed it being a huge issue. Apparently it was overboard in City Folk, which is the only AC entry I skipped (and without regret) until these new fucking garbage spin offs.
Also New Leaf Aquarium and cliff side beaches are beyond comfy.

CF was indeed way overboard. On that note, I have no idea why Nintendo thought to release that as a Selects title. Without the online play there's a decent chunk of the game missing.
New Leaf museum in general was better simply for being able the throw every single donation to Blathers at once. The construction aspect was real neat, but I could never trigger the unlocks I wanted (like the red brick bridge) so it does take marks from that part.
