This is, without a doubt, the greatest videogame Quadrilogy of all time. Nothing comes closer.
Every game is faithful to the original, yet all sequels have something new to offer to the player.
I'm proud to be one of the few to own the entire collection in the original PS2 platform, bought from 2002 to 2005.
These games deserve much more credit, yet they never reached the popularity they deserve.
One one hand I'm ok with this, these games have a dedicated, loyal fandom. On the other, the sheer quality entertainment they offer is enough to deserve a larger crowd of fans.
I remember playing R&C3 in multiplayer for the first time with my friends, I thought it was awesome. Most kids will never know this feel.
Deadlocked is absolute garbage.
I agree in regards to the other 3. Definitely among my foundest memories in gaming.

The future games were much better.
Crack in time/Tools of destruction are solid titles, great levels and memorable bosses. The originals are good, but they don't stack up.

I enjoyed them all, 2 was the best, 1 was the worst because it doesn't hold up upon replay, which is a pity because it was my first game. Also, I'm fairly sure my game was called Gladiator, not Deadlocked. Gladiator was only good coop.

First three were god tier. Deadlocked was pretty shit, but the weapons were pretty sick. Especially when you upgrade them to the max. You could clear the game easily with the dual pistols if you maxed them out
