Battlefield 1 has abandoned any and all attempts to be remotely aligned with history. Matches are filled to the brim with fully automatic SMG's, light machine guns are fired from the shoulder like it's nothing, tanks move at 20mph instead of the 2-3 mph as in reality.
BF1 is literally just a reskinned WWII game trying to be epic with a new time period. At best it is a WWII game with forced infantry mode because even with those buffs tanks are de facto useless and planes don't do shit.

Games about historic wars should not be accurate because then the games would mostly be about Whites. This is unacceptable is today's consumer markets.
The Trashfield series has never been about historical accuracy or realism. Why do you think mods like Forgotten Hope for BF1942 and Project Reality for BF2 were made in the first place?
