I was curious about it until I saw the E3 footage. Looks and plays like any WW2 shooter. Why even make a WW1 game if you don't do anything interesting with the setting, everybody is just running around with SMGs and semi-automatics?

Actually it has a great deal of small mechanics and additions to the gameplay. It feels much better.
The only thing disappointing right now is the suppression adding spread to weapon fire, but people have voiced their concern over it.
