As a game Garry's Mod is full of gameplay limitations but as a world it has no limits. If I want to go to the Elder Scrolls verse I could just load up my Tribunal Tenple map. In game it's a single plaza, if it was a world with lore limitation though then those limits don't exist. Instead of a white void surrounding an empty plaza I would be able to walk outside and explore the entire elder scrolls world. Maybe I get bored and travel to the grimdark realma of 40k or Warhammer Fantasy? Gmod has no lore, the "lore" would be whatever the lore is for the map I load. I would literally be a god, spawning things and creatures out of nothing. I could modify physics and if I am killed I can simply revive. Literally the only annoyance would be that everytine I travel to a new world it would take about 20 minutes and I could only start in a location that exists or at one time existed as a playable map in garry's mod.
That I could do forever, it's literally a world without limits where eliminating gameplay logic actually makes it infinitely better.
