It's the first I played before I went through the rest. It's pretty good, but now that I've played all of 2 it feels like an expansion (which it kinda is). You even go to a lot of the same locations. Nemesis is scarier than Mr. X, though.

It's there, RE6 has a bunch of neat things you can do with combat and movement.
The issue is none of the enemies take advantage of it in any way. The human sized enemies are pretty easy to kill with a gun or QTE, and the giant enemies are just there to fight a large thing. Capcom completely dropped the ball on enemy design here. It's a shame because the stuff you can do is really cool, it would be fantastic in a better game.

Nemesis is a shitty RE2 expansion back that only took the series towards more action, had the shittiest protagonist, no interesting new enemies, puzzles shit, the entire setting is lousy compared to remake or re2's hubs and every side character is garbage, the game goes from a 5/10 to a 3/10 when you have to switch characters

That's not expert gameplay at all.
Some counter setups people do are pretty damn insane, like getting 3 enemies in one counter. 6 mercs isn't all that fun to watch though since 99% is counter fests in Urban Chaos.
The first one was good, second qas alright, i like the atmosphere of the third. 4 though. I think thats my favourite. It was a nice change of pace. Those regenrators though, fuck me was i scared first time round. I havent played 5 or 6 though
