CD is a fucking fever dream of level design. The point of the game is too explore, but everything is so counter intuitive. Physics in general, random springs in the floor ruining momentum, finding a great straight away only for it to end right before you hit warp speed. The only saving graces are Metal Sonic and the JP ost.
