Nehrim is excellent and way better than any TES game (yes, including Morrowind). Both mods have full voice acting by professionals in german and english, the english version for Enderal is coming in a few weeks.

There are very few areas where the FPS drops down to 30-40 for me, like when you turn your camera to the "entrance" of the giant forest on the middle of the map. Thing is, once you actually enter the forest it's 60fps again.

Nehrim has somewhat tweaked combat and skills, Enderal made a big overhaul and added some completely new game mechanics, like the "Arkanistenfieber" (literally arcane feaver) which increases if you use certain spells and magic potions, weakening and eventually killing you if you don't get your dosis of "Ambrosia". That's just one example though. Also you don't raise your stats by simply doing stuff anymore, you get learning points per level up which you can spend on crafting or combat skills by buying certain skill books. It's fucking great really, kinda reminded me of the Gothic games.

It makes preparation for combat actually a thing again, something that was absent from TES games since Morrowind. So yes, the actual combat itself is dull but there's a bit more tactical depth going on. Not much mind you, but at least something.
