Oh boy, there's another spooky mansion later on in the game, and that one HAS enemies. Good luck with that.
Ocean House is probably my favorite level in any game ever though.
How do you guys not losing interest during replays?

>theres more than one
...fuck
>>344079863
by having shit memory of course
>>344079863
simple. Ihave never actually been any further than about halfway despite owning this game for ages and putting a hundred hours into it
>>344080363
Are you me?
>>344079863
It's all about the roleplaying and choosing different paths (the game rewards different paths with different consequences). You have to want to play a new character and act like you are living through that character in-game all the way to the end. You can't just pop the game in and do quests if you picked the clan that you think is the most boring just to do another playthrough. The exception to this is the mandatory second-playthrough malk run for the first time, which will blow you away regardless of whether you wanted to roleplay a madman. It's a whole other game.

please greentext story of how it happens that you stop halfway every time (and what you mean by halfway)
>respawning chinks
WHO THE FUCK THOUGHT THIS SHIT WAS GOOD AT ALL?
>>344081525
what? I don't recall any enemy respawning in this game, including gook vamps. Where does that happen?
>temple 3
This is Giovanni's mansion all over again with those 6 levels, right?
>>344081986
That fucking temple, its driving me insane
>>344082318
Temple is the worst level in the game by far, but in my experience, it definitely doesn't have respawning enemies, you probably missed a few because the place is a maze. Level 3 is its last level luckily, and then you have to face the most difficult boss in the game.
>>344081279
i don't always stop at the same point, but i just lose the will to continue on, a lot of my recent quits are because of me hitting a quest and going "ugh not this one"
Theres just some games out there that i really enjoy the first stages of character building and growing, and later on when that slows down i lose interest. Path of Exile/Diablo1+2/most WRPGs are the same for me. I was probably on my fifth or sixth DaS character before i got into anor londo
>>344082789
>most difficult boss in the game
that tentacle thing?
i remember that even my flamethrower couldn´t do any harm on the lowest difficulty
>>344082981
Am i missing something? There's no choosing difficulty in vtmb.

ah yes my fault.
i meant i pushed all the combat stats to maximum via a helping guide, which didn´t do anything at all. eben with maxed out combat stats this chinese octopus is terrible
>>344082953
Yeah, I know what you're talking about. Lots of people feel that way, but yours manifests a bit more on the extreme side. Thing is, if you haven't played the rest of the game, how can you say "not this quest"? It might be better than you expect, to say the least. If it's a side quest, try ignoring it and moving on to the more interesting ones. My point is, force yourself to stick to the games and you should gain the will to continue once you start up on a game again. You're not the first or the last person to do this, or to reverse it.
>Path of Exile/Diablo1+2
In the case of these aRPGs, you can drop them easily if they don't appeal to you. I love Path of exile, d1 and d2, but if you don't like the grinding part then don't feel bad about dropping them. Other WRPGs like VTMB, Ffallouts, Mass effect, Baldurs gate etc. have novel content and quests all the way to their end to keep your attention, so these are the ones you should try to convince yourself to play.
>I was probably on my fifth or sixth DaS character before i got into anor londo
Very common in the first Dark souls game. You are in luck, since after Anor Londo the game turns to shit. Might wanna finish Anor Londo and drop it then IMO.
>>344082318
They don't re-spwan. You're just lost.

>First blind playthrough

>>344084515
It's the game telling you to man the fuck up and stop being a sissy ventrue faget. If you actually make it out of there, then you can call yourself a real vampire.
>>344084515
>mfw using celerity the entire section
Should I install the tweaks not checked?
Harley Quinn has nice tits.
>>344086472
If it's your first playthrough of the game, leave everything as is, do not install anything extra, just the basic version. If you're doing second playthrough install the plus patch part of those tweaks, the Extras are unnecessary no matter your playthrough.

This fucking game
>>344087694
topkek. Makes me chuckle every time that happens in game. There's so many bugs, technical problems and graphical fuckups you can discuss that it's not even funny. Have you gotten to the Skyline apartments yet? That has to be the most fucked up part of the game bug-wise.
