Get SSD For OS.

Get 1TB drive for storage.

Move User Folders off of SSD. Keep Programs and Steam Program on SSD. Put Games in separate folder, OUT OF Program Files on your TB drive.

Then.
Get Linker Shell Extension.

Cut and Paste Game you want to be faster Into literally anywhere on the SSD, then make a symbolic link from the new location, to the original location.

Now when steam wants to load a game, it will go to your HDD, get pointed to your SSD, and shit will load from there.

How big should the SSD be?

2.5"

I have 250 gigs. Once your User folders and anything that doesn't need to load fast is off the drive. You'll have enough space for at least 4 big AA games

>Is storage overrated ?
What could this possibly mean?
>should 1TB be enough ?
Enough for what?

Physical storage, yes.
Other than games and essentials, everything you have should be on the Cloud.

Microsoft's Xbox One 1TB model sold out almost instantly. The version sold so well, Microsoft recently released a 2TB model, which also sold out instantly.

The PS4 has a 500GB harddrive. Mine is so full that I constantly delete games after I beat them (game saves are stored separately).

The problem is, 2.5" 2TB HDDs are by no means cheap.

Idiots keep recommending solid state drives, but the average 2TB SSD is worth far more than the actual console at full retail price.

Agreed. Personal and private information should be readily accessible to corporations known for selling private information.

Has a more stupid set of questions ever been asked?
Storage is what you make of it. Just get a generous SSD (256GB or more) and expand when you encounter the need.
Goddamn you're a fucking baby.
>>
i use a single 250gig ssd, so yeah, i think 1TB should be enough.

I answered well within the confines of the stupid question you asked. Are you upset because I called you a baby?
