I made a huge list because I'm a huge autist. 2 columns, handheld and console/PC games. Ranked based on interest and upcoming games. Like how I want to play the original Deus Ex before Mankind divided. Currently playing Tokyo Mirage SessionsHLTB is "how long to beat" based on howlongtobeat.com

if a game looks like its gonna take long to finish or if i think its gonna be good and will want to immerse myself and finish it in a few sessions - i put it off for later when i have more time and play something endless (mmo /mobas) or mediocre instead
often this something mediocre turns out to be really good
I look them over and try to remember my greatest moment in that game and if I get hype I play it.

I've got a list of "to play" notepad, and a list of "to get" bookmarked folder. if i'm bored I look around those until one stands out and sounds okay.
if none do, I don't bother, video games are boring enough without me forcing myself to play them. used to be able to fuck around on sc/bw for hours, now I quit within minutes

You can filter by time and things,
Usually first the genre and then from that genre I pick the one that's most played but unfinished. If multiple games there are finished I pick the one that's the furthest back

I live in the moment man, whatever im feeling I just play it. Usually think like, one game ahead and I tend to play 2/3 games at a time. I have one main game and a side game for when I'm sick of the other one or not in the mood.
