BioShock 1, and to a lesser extent 2, had a few weird issues on PC. They weren't very stable, like in 2, the game would crash if you were to go through the door where you get the nail gun. 1 has some compatibility problems, and both have severe issues in DirectX10 mode.

Consoles are the bulk of the profit, and the PC ports are cheaper than ever. There is no other explanation, PC is not worth the investment for the minimal return. Also consider the following. Many people will complain about a bad port, no one will sing praises about a good port, and hardly anyone cares if a game doesn't come to PC. You'll see people like Jim Sterling make a video about Arkham Knight's bad port and how poorly the situation was handled, but he would never make a video calling out why WB abandoned the PC market.

If you didn't have a processor with the exact same frequency as Xbox 360's processor it would run either faster if the CPU had a lower frequency or slower if it had a faster frequency.

Also, for some reason upgrading to Windows 8 fixed it.

yes but on co soles the whole game runs close to 30fps so there no big difference. You can really notice it on pc with higher framerates and I think it looks cool, sort of like a rotoscope animation or an old film, which really fits in.

Its all about effort vs reward. Its cheaper to make a bad port, but even cheaper to not release the game on PC. PC by and far is the least profitable platform for AAA devs, otherwise bad/delayed ports wouldn't exist.

No, Dark Souls is perfectly feasable with a KB+M, but the problem with DS2 was that heavy attack and parry I think were hard coded to "Double click" on the mouse, so it would have this weird delay issue if you were trying to perform certain actions, like kick.

3, VC, and SA all have similar problems. I wouldn't say they're unplayable but not locking the framerate to 30 fps (or 25 in SA) does cause a lot of issues. In SA there's at least one mission that breaks at too high a framerate.

They are not remaking infinite though, the consoles are getting the PC port that is it.

I bought a fx-6300 processor awhile back and 2 works fine now... but on my other processor it crashed so much it was unplayable. Strangely enough DA runs fine on it too (before I had to play v1.0 with music disabled to stop the soul destroying combat crashes)
