There's nothing necessarily bad about it, but a hefty majority of the game is painfully bland and dull because of just how repetitive the gameplay is.
I'd say buy it when it's selling for $5, this game simply isn't worth it otherwise.

Really intense, lots of fun. Half of the game is crazy bullet hell dodging, the other half is sword dueling with parries.
I got it for free, but I'd recommend it if you can get it for 5-10 bucks.

I should also mention, expect some frustration if you're new to these kind of games like I am. Some bosses are tricky as fuck and may take a while, but the game isn't unrelentingly hard and there are a few breather fights as well, and each battle has its own sort of theme and gimmick.

Furi isn't worth $25. It's a $10 or $15 game at its best. But I bought it at full price because I have nothing else to play right now.
I'd almost compare it to a shoot ém up style game. It's not worth $25 for the gameplay alone, but if it means anything to you the soundtrack features great original tracks by popular EDM artists and the game has guel audio in English and Japanese.

If it's the bullet part, just try to dodge through where the floor waves intersect and keep making downwards circles while dodging.
If it's the parrying phase, good luck because that shit always gets me and I just kinda barely beat it through luck.

Kinda annoying. Very long boss phases which there isn't much to outside of learn their pattern and you reward is nothing, not even a grade. A lot of the time you'll get hit from just not knowing what is coming, and once you do the game just becomes a bit tedious

The gameplay is pretty awesome, but it's only a boss rush. On the other hand, I have nothing against a boss rush from time to time.
The aesthetics are great, as is the music. It's pretty atmospheric.
Definitely worth a pirate. I think I'm gonna buy it when it drops to around 15-20 euro (it's 25 euro right now).

Super fun. Too bad I don't have a game pad. Only boss I kind of didn't like was sniper bitch. If you are touching the wall she shoots it will kill you, and I had it straight up go through the wall once or twice.
Plus it was just super tedious. Run around to find her, hide behind pillar, slash her. Takes like 30 seconds per phase, and there are three of them. Retrying after failing on the last bullet hell phase was annoying as fuck.
Also I gave up on Mothership. Using a mouse was just too much work and didn't feel good enough to persevere.
Even so, it was really fun. Really felt good defeating the hard bosses just with good timing and memorization.

use the charge shot, doesnt need to be charged long and goes through bullets. kill one hand then the other while dodging shit. phase ends with lasers not even coming out.

I played it for """""free""""" on PS4 and for those who want to get it on PS4: the game runs at 60fps with dips (normally not in battle) and without vsync. Plays perfectly on the Vita Remote Play (I S Ranked 1 boss today playing on the vita).
Overall a great game, I'll get it on PC on a deal because this game should look gorgeous at 144fps

You already have that, I think it's called "practice" (I play on another language), you can fight only the bosses you've beaten. When you finish the game you get a "boss rush" mode tho, where you fight all the bosses one after another, without cutscenes and walking sequences.

Boosting's generally best to use when your opponent's knocked down after a charge attack or a combo, so long as the boss doesn't jump up again rapidly. Was testing this on the first boss a few times earlier and it's quite easy to boost yourself during these windows, generally speaking.

Just beat both devs speedrun times. Everything feels really nice and satisfying in this game. Only thing that was annoying at first is the slight delay on the dash, but you get used to it pretty quick.

Gameplay is pretty fucking top tier, very intense.
HOWEVER
graphics are bad, like REALLY bad, like the game plummets to 0 FPS during any cutscene where the MCs hair is in view at any time. Particle effects are just giant translucent polygons. Cutscene audio is desynced by several milliseconds at times. Game constantly cuts to a new camera angle during the walking sim parts because it thinks its some deep anime but in reality it just means you constantly need to readjust your movement direction. "story" is pretty dull, bunnyman is fucking retarded and overall aesthetic is fairly pisspoor. If you liked that nigger anime about a porchmonkey samurai then good for you, but otherwise the game is just weird for weirds sake.
All of that being said, the game is really fun if not fucking frustrating at times. Attacks can do between 1-3 damage to you where as successful parries are only half a point of health back and health orbs are only 1. Not saying this is a bad thing, but any fuck up can likely mean automatic loss.
Not worth more than 15 burger dollars, and thats if you REALLY think you're going to love this game.
