KI is fucking horrible, enjoy doing the one combo over and over again, and stupid shit like COUNTER BREAKER every two seconds. Babies first fighting game just like SFV
Do people even play this game? It gets shitty numbers in tournaments, but who the fuck cares about tournaments? The thing is I have heard there aren't even a lot of people that play it online either. I really wanted to get it when it came out, but I don't have an Xbone and my laptop is shit for playing games.
I will say that this game has lost almost all its cool now thanks to all the guest characters. When I first saw KI I was impressed with the graphics and style of the game. Great soundtrack, unique gameplay, cool visuals. When they started doing the new characters (especially Hisako and the rock guy) I was blown away by how unique the character design and moveset design was.
Now it's just becoming Microsoft's advertising campaign and it feels like a joke at this point. Rash was a cool inclusion for fun especially since he is a Rare character to begin with, but holy shit Raam and the Arbiter don't suit the game at all.

KI is practically the newest fighting game in the block, it does have a history but it was always overshadowed by tekken, SF, and MK. It does have a dedicated fanbase though and does grow each year even if it's slowly. Third biggest growth pec enrage at Evo this year, right behind Sm4sh and SFV.
Also online is incredibly active, takes less time to find a match than in SFV plus the netcode is literally the best fighter netcode to date.

Well, it's an accurate comment. Personally, though, I think both Rash and RAAM are pushing it. The Arbiter is fine. He's not grey and brown and dudebro serious like RAAM is, but he's not totally goofy and self aware like Rash is. He's just the right amount balance.

Ideally, it'd be Atriox for the normal costume, and Tartarus for the retro, but Atriox's gravity mace is shorter then the Fist of Rukt so i don't think that'd work out as far as hitboxes.
