What if it streams the top screen to the TV and you use that as the controller and the second screen for 3DS.
Could be an easy update to the Wii U and add a peripheral to the button of the game pad to read the 3DS games but might as well jew out the drones from some more moeny.

reminder that patents never look like the actual final product (if there even is one, companies often file patents for things they are thinking about but never end up making). Patent sketches are always designed to be as different from what the actual product will be as possible while still technically meeting the requirements of the patent.
