So for us suckers who dont have any spawn points at home there is literally nothing you can do while at home in the game. But people with spawn points can farm from home whenever they want.
They need to do some massive changes; first is that all players should attract pokemon over time regardless of where you are so even if you are not playing actively you can fucking do something while at home. Even if its 1 an hour it would be a reason to turn the game on.

There's like 5x as many pokestops as there are Pokemon around me, the app only works while it's open, even at minimum brightness with all other apps closed it eats a full charge in like 2 hours, my strongest Pokemon is a goddamn paras

Had to be relatively close, as in the icon is near your radar pulse ring. I've got 4 within a couple blocks, but couldn't reach any just at home. Went out and visited each, basically had to walk up to the sign/monument/etc. to register.

you might try a mini-usb to usb cord to hook it up to your computer and run the updater software they probably have on their website, should be an exe that you can run that updates the phone if it's connected
