OK /v/
as a kid, I never had a gba. I was not into portable consoles. Yeah Iits the current year and I've never played a gba game.
I wanna fix that, Im going to download an emu (I understand that gba emulation is pretty much flawless) and play some of the best games.
So, tell me, which games should i download? Because each rom is like 2 or 3 mb in size so I guess I can download plenty of them.
They can also be game boy color games (I think the emu supports them too)

pokemon ruby/saph/emerald. Stay away from firered and leafgreen, those versions are very boring since they're just remakes of the 1st pokemon games.

Avoid final fantasy IV, V and VI, the gba versions suck and are more imbalanced. Get them on SNES if you want to

Sadly megaman x cant be emulated properly. Literally the only snes game I can think of that suffered from this.

? Even the Megaman X2's special chip effects work in fucking ZSNES of all emulators. It is close enough for any regular playthrough on a good emulator. The PSX ones might give some trouble but mine was okay. Didn't bother with PS2.

Shining soul 2 has a bug where the final battle DOES NOT starts, the boss just shows up and stays flying endlessly.

It's not the best but I have very fond memories of playing Castlevania: Circle of the Moon on my purple GBA with a clip on light attachment that you could cover the screen with when you turned it off. I used to burn the fucking batteries out on that thing so quick.

TempGBA on PSP does emulate those.
Chain of Memories, Power Tennis, DBZ LoG, SS2, MMZ2, FFVI, etc all work fine on PSP.
There are still some slowdowns and such though.
SNES emulation on PSP though has never worked great, and never will - it just doesn't have the power for it.
