So who is a better healer: Mercy or Lucio?

Mercy is mandatory on every single team comp because of how busted her charge time is, and how busted her ultimate is.

Lucio is better for teams that have more coordination and stick together. Lucio also has more survivability and mobility options than Mercy.
Mercy is better for shitters that need her crutch ult. Both are very good.

I play Mercy in pubs only if they watch for flankers and move around the map a lot, allowing me to do the same with gliding to them. Sitting like a duck is dangerous, and zipping around healing everyone is fun as fuck.
However since that's so rare to find I mostly go with Lucio since not only can he help get people back to the front/out of danger, but most importantly he's way easier to fight back with. He is also just fun as fuck to play though.
tl;dr Mercy with a well organized team, Lucio for pubfags who always abandon you.
lucio is played more in competitive, in some maps teams run 2 lucios over 1 of each

at least with lucio you can fend off for yourself by wall gliding and running fast as fuck.
everytime i play mercy i'm all alone, my allies are out of sight, and i spend most of my time walking back from dying.
