The game is shit. I quit around 3.2.3 (WotLK) and came back for a month back in February. The game is bland and feels lifeless. The PvP aint too bad though.
Im willing to admit this is old-man 'the worlds changing and I don't like it' logic but the WoW I know is long dead and I worry that the experience people have nowadays is less than the experience I had when I first played.
I still play on a private server. WotLK or BC are fine expansions if you decide to go that route, but I wouldn't touch modern world of Warcraft.
