Chances are you are like me. I was close to going pro in WoW arena. League came out and I steadily headed to Plat in season 1 but started college. Skill stagnated as I could not play 5 to 8 hours a day.

Forward to now am earning 55k a year and am now only above average at every thing. It really bothers me because now I have to be content being average at everything but my job. At least there is money in it.

plat is only above average in league, you want diamond 3 and up to be "good"

Im what I consider average but I used to be the top .1% of Wow pvp. Now I am usually top 10% of games but I only game like 15 hours a week now any way.

It will be worth it to make a 6 figure income in the next few years and I am learning to cook and workout more so thats good.

This. I've also been extremely good at a few "esport" games but being good is not enough, you need a great amount of luck and "knowing certain people" that can help you become more famous and attend tournaments. Same as real sports.
