Overwatch's initial success made think Valve would feel the heat and start working on TF3, but then I saw that Tf2's numbers were basically unchanged and I realized that the people that still play TF2 just don't give a shit about anything else

I think Valve will still have a decent stream of revenue coming in off it then. I seriously doubt they would do that so early.

I wonder if they would let hats carry over to TF3. Or more likely just keep updating the game so there is no need for a new one. Add a new gamemode with a 10th class or some shit. Make a mode where everyone has ults like in Overwatch, you can choose your ult by changing you action item in your loadout. Hell someone could make this themselves and just use the halloween spellbook spells,
