I fucking love LBP. One of my favorite game series of all time, without a doubt.
Playing it with friends for couch play makes it great.
It's a nice easy platinum but that's about it
Me and my friends made a stage where you ride around on cocks firing lasers at each other when i was like 15. The stupid joke got funnier with every download it got but beyond that no I thought this game was pretty lame
LBP1 and its community is the most fun I've had with a game.
I tend to move to the other lanes when I don't mean to a lot and it fucks up my flow

LBP was great until let's plays were born and shit like FnaF, minecraft, pewdiepie, markiplier, etc. plagues all of the top levels.
In LBP1 and 2 you had nice creative and thought out levels being made. Then when I loaded up LBP3 I was greeted with BEST FNAF LEVEL H4H, SMOSH FIGHT CLUB, and more autistic kids then I could see. There's even whole levels dedicated to shitting all over the awful player base and how youtube gaming fucked up the community. A real shame

I like the charm and aesthetic. I thought the level designer was good enough. I like the music quite a bit. I think it has fun multiplayer, and the game has enough features to feel different between levels. It has a lot of longevity in my mind.
Also, my neighbor who was my vidya buddy loved the game to pieces. It sort of rubbed off on me. It's probably why I have a soft spot for Brawl and Skyward Sword, too. They're games we played together.

I used to play LBP with my little brother, it was great.
I remember making a map where players try to fly a big airship (controlled with buttons and levers attached to rocket engines) over poison gas while mines fall from the sky forever. The ship would eventually break apart from the mines and fall into the gas killing everyone, the goal was just to survive as long as possible. We'd play that for hours on end, it was great.

then we started to make our own hide 'n seek lvl with logic and stuff at first it was really hard but we managed to make some pretty nice levels with very fun hide options

Me and my friends used to play that one level where you're on a boat and theres all these whales attacking you and the goal was to get to shore, so fucking fun. If you were good enough you could kill the whales with the harpoon thats on the boat, but the whales usually destroy the boat by then. Honestly my favorite community level of all time.

The game was pretty great if you didnt have a rock for a brain. Spending hours on one creation was surprisingly satisfying when it ended up well

I always find LBP games to be enjoyable and charming.
Gameplay's enjoyable even though it's simple at times.
The stage creation tools are good.
The character and stage designs are interesting.
The soundtrack that comes with the game is usually pretty good.
The game uses the features that the console has (like the Vita's Touchscreen and the PS3's Gyroscope) decently.
Overall, the game is fun and charming. Reminds me of the days of fun when I was young. Oddly enough, the game hasn't been and so supported from the gamedevs (from what I heard). And why did they close down Japan's server? Does the series doesn't quite sell there (it is a shame if it is)?
