What games would you consider complete cash grabs? For me it's Dark Souls 2.

Except a totally different team completely redesigned the game. They used a completely different combat system, stat system, setting, and overall tonality to the game.

That is where NG+ comes in and all of the DLC which is no walk in the park if you're not overleveled. Most people agree also that the NG+ is superior to DS3, which most people also agree, is the most linear of all of them.
I'm running through it right now, and it literally feels like a straight line, which it is. All of the side areas are usually blocked off by an obstruction, and can tell were just put there for visuals. Dark Souls 2, you can go to 5 or 6 different places from the starting area. So, again, which is a richer PvE experience?

Epic threw it at an unvetted dev to save money, stripped it down into an "arcade shooter" then still dumped it out half finished.
They did so for the sole purpose of padding the company's income while they devved Gears 3.
I would say that Epic does this alot. That shitshow Judgement was a definite cashgrab as well. They shit it out once they realized they couldn't milk gears 3 anymore and once again used the shit dev People can fly.

I think Demon's Souls and Bloodborne wete the best in the series, followed by Dark Souls, Ds3 and finally Ds2. Despite not loving them all equally, I do love them all. If Dark Souls 2 was the only game in tge series I think it would be hugely celebrated.
I think teleporting was shit and really brought both 2 and 3 down. If Des and BB had worlds that worked like the first half of ds1 they would be flat out amazing.
