Why are retro games so expensive?
Who actually buys this shit when there is emulation?
People like to collect/physically hold things
The entire goal of the collector's market is to artificially drive up the costs of scarce products. Actually using the product is irrelevant.

Only losers who like to have boxes on their shelves to look at buy retro crap.
Since they don't care about playing the game and just want to have them rot in their basement until the day they die, there are less and less retro games available to buy so the prices naturally skyrocket.

Many Saturn games.
I don't know if it's a widespread problem, but I have issues trying to get certain PS1 games to play without locking up, or having sound or graphical issues.
