My reasoning was that I would have spent that much on games if the sale was actually GOOD.
But it was fucking garbage. When they removed the daily deals they took away that impulse buy feeling when you saw a game you wanted for like 75% off.
Limited availability + huge discount = massive sales.

Make sure you get the matchmaking tool, it has a pinned thread in the game's steam forums. Apparently DaS's native matchmaking is godawful, I didn't realize that until I had already beaten the gargoyles.
The game's still pretty dead, but you'll at least get to see more in the way of messages, bloodstains and such.

What's under your blanket : Bad game, and it actually hurt. Pressing esc close the game, and you need to click for 10 minute straight to finish it. You can actually hurt yourself while playing this game, who is really short and really not good.
Bibou : Probably the worst game I played in a long while. Collectathon platformer with bad controls, and actually no saving when you finish a level. Everything one shot you and you have 4 lives for the whole game. Horrible.

I also purchased This War of Mine for a friend. Another fucking game for another friend that looks like it was made in the '90s.

Shellshock Live and Golf With Your Friends. I haven't tried GWYF yet, but Shellshock Live is a ton of fun. To me, it's the closest any of these kinds of games have come to replicating the feel of Scorched Earth, and being able to play that online is a lot of fun. Upgrades and unlocks make playing for long sessions rewarding, and the community, so far, seems pretty decent.
