The gameplay is pretty good in ME3 and the multiplayer is a lot of fun, although I think it's dead by now.

The game play is directly better, the story is kinda fucky tho.
Honestly feels like mass effect 2.5 rather than a fully fleshed out sequel, you can see where the game get rushed pretty easily.
But I would say it is worth a pirate, especially with the DLCs.
